Summer events ahead at Crete Public Library

Crete Public Library's schedule of events tro start the summer includes children's activities, teen nights, adult events, book clubs, and family nights. Watch for more details on these events as well as upcoming details about July's Summer Reading Program. Contact the library with any questions or to RSVP/register where noted.
Children's Programming
- Stay and Play' time in May and June for toddlers and preschool age children. Staff will set out toys and the kids can play with their friends.
- Toddler - ages 0-2 - Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
- Preschool - ages 3-5 - Thursdays at 10 a.m.
Teen Nights
- DIY T-shirts - Thursday, May 23 at 5:30 p.m.
Family Nights
- Family Board Game Night - Tuesday, May 21, drop-in 5 -7 p.m.
- Family Puzzle Race - Tuesday, June 11, 5:30 - 8 p.m. (Pizza at 5:30, Race at 6)
- Registration open until May 24 or until tables are all taken. Stop by the library to register and pay the $20 fee or email crete.library@crete.ne.gov with: 1) team name 2) members and let us know if you have any children under the age of 12 (for 300 piece puzzle instead of the 500 piece - unless you specifically ask for the 500 piece) 3) phone number 4) choice of large pizza (cheese, pepperoni or beef). Pay the registration fee online. Use the drop down menu and select Events/programs.
- Family Origami Program with Linda Stephens - Saturday, Aug. 24 at 1 p.m.
Adult Events
- Craft Night - details TBA - Tuesday, July 16 at 6 p.m.
Book Clubs
- Code Yellow - first Thursdays, 12 p.m.
- Kaleidoscope - third Thursdays, 12 p.m.
