Summer Reading Program activities start in July
Registration opens in May: watch for announcements
Readers can participate in Crete Public Library's summer reading program, typically announced in April/May with a kickoff event to follow.
Youth activities in June and July may include games and activities, art projects, story times, guest entertainment and authors, reading challenges, and more. All activities and programs are open to children free of charge, but registration is required. Forms and calendars are made available at the library and online when programs are announced. Additional activities and reading challenges may be offered for adult patrons.
Summer Reading participants age 7 and under need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during Summer Reading activities. The Library encourages parents and guardians to arrange safe escort to and from programs. Library staff is not responsible for children before and after programs.
For more information, stop by or call the library, or email, Crete Public Library.
