Bridge replacement to begin Dec. 1 on 22nd Street

Beginning Thursday, Dec. 1, 22nd Street between Kingwood Ave and Ivy Ave will be closed for bridge replacement.
The wood bridge will be replaced with a triple concrete box culvert and additional street paving in the area. General Excavating of Lincoln was awarded this project with a bid of $842,112.
Work is estimated to be completed by the end of June (2023).
