Pool Lifeguards and Cashiers
The City of Crete is taking applications for Lifeguards and Cashiers at Wildwood Pool for the 2024 Season.
Lifeguards - General functions include: Ensure the safety and well-being of all swimming pool patrons and aid in the effective overall operation of the city swimming pool. Report to the pool manager and assistant pool manager(s). Seasonal, hourly position. Minimum Qualifications: possess or be able to obtain a valid certification in CPR and Basic First Aid; possess or be able to obtain a valid Lifeguard certification; must be at least 16 years of age.
Cashiers - General functions include: Responsible for patron admissions and concessions. Check-in patrons and collect fees. Document attendance and record daily financial records relating to pool entry and concession sales. Report to the Pool Manager(s). Seasonal, hourly position. Minimum Qualifications: possess or be able to obtain a valid CPR certification; cash handling experience preferred; must be at least 15 years old.
